Kellie Martin is an American TV, film and stage actress. Her most notable parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Additionally, she's famous for her role as the main character in"The Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Born to a department-store buyer and a kindergarten teacher, Martin began her career in acting when she was just seven when her aunt, who worked as a nanny for Michael Landon's children, helped her land her a role in the 1982 show "Father Murphy.". After her graduation of Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land substantial roles, both on the smaller and big screen. Martin, who is an actor, as well as an accomplished dancer and photographer, has been in the business for over twenty years.
