Lynda Carter is she is an American singer and actress best recognized for her character Wonder Woman from the television show of the same title during the 1970s. She has also appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout her career, and has become a cult icon of pop media. The long and successful career of Lynda as an actress was complemented by her producing and acting in several highly-rated CBS TV specials on network television, certain of them have garnered Emmy Award nominations.
